1.Title: The Lion and The Mouse
Once a lion caught a mouse.The mouse was very frightened.It said,“please don’t eat me..”.The lion felt pity for the mouse.It was kind enough to let the mouse go.
Another day,the same lion was at the edge of a hill.It was eating the sweet mushrooms there.There was a big net.It fell into the net and was caught in it.It roared for help.
That same mouse was playing near a pond,down the hill.It heard the roar of the lion.The mouse thought,it could be his friend.So,it raced up the hill.It reached the place where the lion was.It began to bite the net.It bit and bit until there was a big hole in the net.The lion quickly came out.It thanked the mouse dearly.They became good friends and lived happily ever after.
Dialogue…….
Snoochey, who’s really the smallest archer fish in all of the Marine World went to visit his friend,Sharkey,one morning.
Snoochey:Hello,Sharkey! You don’t look well.
Sharkey : Aaar… gh! That’s because I don’t feel good.
Snoochey: What’s wrong? Did you eat the wrong food?
Sharkey : I’m not sure.
Snoochey: Let me have a look at you.
Sharkey : Ooooookay,Snoockey!
Good-hearted Soochey swam right into Sharkey’s big belly. “A-ha!” he said to himself.He quickly pulled out his notebook ( Snoochey always carried his satchel with him), and sketched what he saw.
Snoochey went to take tea with Sharkey later….
Snoochey: Sharkey! You must not be greed.You can’t eat
everything you see-you’re not a goat.Just look at
what was in your stomach.
Sharkey : My goodness! Is that a plank? Did you really see
that in my stomach?
Snoochey: I most certainly did!
Sharkey : Oh,dear! You’re right.I should change my eating
habits.Thanks,Snoochey.
Moral = Don’t be greedy. It doesn’t pay. Eat till
you’re full and the stop.

Make sure you clean the litter box once or twice a week.To get rid of any disturbing odours, put some baking soda under the fresh litter.

Kittens enjoy playing and need new toys to amuse them,so keep changing their toys as often as you need to.It’s easy to please kittens because they will play with anything that moves-crushed paper,a soft ball,an empty carton,a paper bag…..anything will do for a while.But they would rather play with you than play alone.
Speak Softly Love
Kittens love to hear you speak gently to them or even sing sweetly to them.They love it when your tones are soft and pleasant but hate the reverse.
Walks and drives?
Yes,kittens can be trained to enjoy going for walks or for car rides if you train them early.Always keep your kitten on a leash to make sure it doesn’t run away and hold your kitten while in the car.Once the kitten gets used to going for outings with you,you’ll find it hard to leave it at home!

How to make your own beads….
Materials Required =
1. modelling clay ( from stationery shops )
2. thin sticks ( use lidi from a broom or from the leaves of a coconut palm )
3. poster colours and a brush
4. varnish ( from a hardware shop ) and a brush
5. string
6. a small bowl
Procedure
1. Roll a small bit of clay into a ball.Then make whatever shape you like.
2. Use the stick to poke a hole through each bead. Place the stick across a bowl and let the beads dry for one day.
3. Paint the beads with any colour you like.When they are dry,apply varnish to each bead.
4. Remove the sticks.Put a length of string through each bead. Tie the ends together.
5. You can make a pretty necklace or a key chain with the beads you have made.
